Does anyone know why this game is being played? It wasn't one of the fixtures scheduled for this weekend. It is a game that seems to have been brought forward?

I think Naenae are playing because they are a game behind everyone and two games behind three of the teams, so they just wanted them to play a game.

Weird that they didn't just keep it as scheduled against BNU though....Stokes Valley certainly aren't behind the rest.  Totally random call.

The one explanation i can think of is that they needed to catch up a game, but it needed to be against a team they are yet to play at home - so rules out BNU (who they were scheduled to play this weekend) and Wharfies (against whom their fixture was abandoned the other week due to the sand fiasco at Karori Pk). That would seem reasonable if SV agreed to it

come and laugh at me?? hahahaha nah its all good.

I think our game got scheduled because there were apparently going to have to be a couple of double headers to catch up games so this provides a good opportunity for us to do so.

Has to be Wakefield. Hot food, hot coffees, licensed bar, blockbuster Pixar film on the projector screen, top of the table Premier League clash, me in goal...you couldn't get all this at an All Black game.
