As there is no thread for this I thought I would start it:

Current table as follows:

Waterside Karori      6    Stop Out              0
Lower Hutt City      17    Petone                0
Western Suburbs       4    Kapiti Coast Utd      3                       P  W  D  L  GF  GA  Pts
Lower Hutt City        2  2  0  0  24   1   6
Waterside Karori       2  2  0  0  18   0   6
Western Suburbs        2  2  0  0  10   4   6
Kapiti Coast Utd       2  0  0  2   4  11   0
Stop Out               2  0  0  2   1  12   0
Petone                 2  0  0  2   0  29   0Looks like Lower Hutt & Karori will be the teams to beat. Anyone comment on the Lower Hutt result, it must be close to a record for a Wellington competition game?

Petone look to have a very competetive side in this league.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

A bit of an understatement

It must be disheartining for the Petone boys, I hope they can bounce back a bit.

The Wests v Kapiti game was strange, i left half way through the 2nd half and Wests were up 3-0. Quite a good standard from what I saw as well.

I love this latest update of the u-17 table on the Capital Football website:

                      P W D L GF GA Pts
Kapiti Coast Utd       1 1 0 0   6   1   3
Western Suburbs        1 1 0 0   3   1   3
Waterside Karori       0 0 0 0   0   0   0
Bye                    0 0 0 0   0   0   0
Stop Out               1 0 0 1   1   3   0
Lower Hutt City        1 0 0 1   1   6   0

At this stage, with their superior goal difference compared with Stop Out and LHC, the Byes are well placed to avoid the wooden spoon. Rock-solid defence so far, but like many Wellington teams I've watched this winter they don't offer much on attack. No doubt the Byes will point to dodgey referee calls and boggy pitches for their lack of venom in front of goal. Things could improve, but I still can't see them catching the leaders.Toffeeman662011-07-18 13:20:31
