I don't know anything about you guys looking for teams but you might want to change your approach. You won't find a team by posting on here "I'm looking for a team, PM me". No one is going to pick you up unless they know something about you. Also, unless you're a stand out player in NZ/your region, no one is going to approach you.

Maybe you should say a bit about your footballing achievements and maybe approach some clubs.

Just saying.

Haha all right mate thanks for that approach, yeah may take it into consideration. Bit of information for you mate. I do play for NZ just been to england with them. & will no doubt be apart of our NZFC Franchise again this season.
Mabye you should comment on someone elses post yea?

He had given this info in pm's before posting on here. Had already put him in contact with a number of clubs.

Hay mate, good on you [seriously]. You will probably get a team based on that. I think I saw another guy post something similar with no info. The comment was aimed at anyone on here looking for a team, just trying to help. Good luck anyway.

Ok i'm out of here but someone better change the name of this thread to Tom Biss' National Under 19 Tournament, to avoid any confusion.

Perhaps "Tom Biss is a Twunt"? I'm not sure if you're aware of this Topleft, but I'm kind of a big deal...james dean2010-07-30 22:53:56

Well...from a Senior follower of football, I am hoping that you have fully considered your approach to looking to find a team to take you on for the U19 tournament. If you are such a star, and your current club is entering a team, is it that they don't want you?. If that is not the case, why have not other clubs in your area not queued for your services? Or is it that you haven't told your current club that you don't want to play for them....I wonder what they will say about you continuing to play at any level with them if they find you are going behind there back to find another club. All decisions have consequences.

the difference between the main draw and satellite is not something to fall out with people/clubs on. If you are trying to be talent spotted for a US College or something just get someone to put word out there to check you out. Marco Rojas was playing in the satellite before he got signed for the Nix. Feverish2010-07-31 07:29:54

Yeah agree..but there are ways and means of doing it.....as I see it there will now be two clubs, at least in your region, who will no longer give you their support...because you have thought you were not being given the support you deserve and...oh...I guess it doesn't really matter that they are the two strongest clubs in your region.

I am not just getting at you...but there are too many young  players these days who are just too f**king big for their boots. You gotta earn respect...not just be told that you are good by a couple of coaches..you have to prove yourself. If you are that good ..and put in the effort...you will be rewarded. If you sh*t on those who give you opportunities...then you will be cast adrift.

Do I suspect Senior Follower that you might have an "interest" in this matter?

You seem to be jumping to a lot of conclusions there.
He's already played for a club from his region in the main draw in a previos season, I dont know why he still doesnt play for them? he current club may have given him their blessing to look at playing for a club in the main draw or he could even be looking to shift outta that region and be looking longer term for a club to play for next season.

took the words right out of my mouth. To many young players like this in HB that think they are good when infact the are pretty average! Prima donna's. Biss is a fine example.

I wouldn't say they are just too big for there boots, they just choose to want to play. What good is it sitting on the bench for a central league team the whole time when you can play every single game for another team with quality players? I get your point and it is valid. Who are the other young players who are full of themselve in HB? You know quite a bit about them so who are you?

When i went to Napier in my last year of U19s for BNU (2004?) we played against some quality sides in the satelite group like North Shore and Christchurch. Even Marist, Upper Hutt and Island Bay all had plenty of strength. IBU beat Napier in the pre-cup that year as well. And we also beat Stop Out and Wainui in the pre-cup and they were in the main draw. Then topped it with a nice 1-0 win over IBU in our final game at Napier. There wernt any soft games
