Dunedin Tech definately have some talent, Tristan Prattley has couple of NZFC sesons under his belt and along with Michael Still and James Wason is in this years squad. I rate Govan, Dunn, Enwright, Rodden and Cameron (F) highly as well. They will however have a couple of weak links, especially off the bench.

Any side that Champagne Tony Martin is involved will be hard to beat.

Excellent forecast for the weekend. Spose it'll still be a bit chilly though when that wind pipes up.

Three for me, and two for them.

It's not looking good for the three gingers we have in our team. 2ndBest2009-10-22 12:15:15

If anyone wants to buy a snazzy new Sumner Lovin T Shirt I will have some in my car for sale.

I'll be wearing mine around, so you should be able to spot me.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Any website to see the results?
Of the 3 teams I have seen play East Coast Bays look strong, although I heard they have dropped Godwin Darkwa for not coming to trainings (there best player) and Central United looked strong with there 3 - 1 win over Ellerslie in a friendly. Thomas Doyle had a good game at left back setting up two of the goals.
Birkenhead look very very average.

C'mon Petone

Thanks for that toe hacker.
Predictable result from East Coast Bays first up - considering they held the NZ under 17 world cup side to a nil all draw in there first hit out together about a month ago.

Good results for Wellington United in Group B with two wins and Petone still in contention in Group A with a win and a draw.  Miramar and Lower Hutt with work to do, but should have easier games this round. What happened to Tawa?  0-5 after beating Three Kings in the first game.

Where did all the Wellington based teams go?
My guess is semi finalists will probably be Bay Olympic, East Coast Bays, Central United and Tauranga City. East Coast Bays/Waitakere & Bay Olympic/Ellerslie will be close games.
Central should win this tournament!

Western Suburbs are a Wellington based team and in the semis after knocking Central out on pens.

x2 Bays should win it now, but they have been the best team down there for the last 4-5 years but always seem to lose on penalties in the semi's.. (usually to central)

TBH its embarrasing that Glenfield have made it this far, they are woeful
