UHCF moves to Maidstone Park. As unanimously voted by its members on Monday 3rd December Upper Hutt City Football will move its primary clubrooms to Maidstone Park for the begining of the 2013 football season. This is an extremly exciting time for Upper Hutt City Foootball which will see its new facility located above the new $2.5m dollar turf installed recently by the Upper Hutt City Council. Chairman PeterThomas says "the reality is football as we know it in the next few years will all be played on turf so its fantastic to have this facility right on our backdoor for the community to make use of". Upper Hutt City Football has plans well underway for the construction of a giant deck that will come off the top story of the clubrooms to provide a fantastic viewing platform and enhace the experience of watching sport played on the turf. The new facility has also had a complete refurbishment downstairs on the changing facilities in which our local council has invested heavily into for the community. There is no doubt that Upper Hutt City Football will be the envy of many sports club in the Wellington region .. give it some thought who else in their community has the facility of this quality? Mean while the Harcourt Park Clubrooms will be retained by Upper Hutt City Football for the 2013 season while we settle into life at Maidstone Park

How long has Harcourt Park been the home ground?

Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

Well done Upper Hutt on the new facilities. It is a shame the Waikato City council doesn't share the foresight in Hamilton. Our football facilities are prety average.
