This Year the Upper Hutt Car Sales U19 tournament will be held over the 10th and 11th of October and will be once again held at the  Maidstone Park turf facility, we will also utilize the grass pitches directly behind Maidstone Park as we did in 2014. We will also once again host a separate development tournament run on the same weekend at Awakairangi,

The development competition is proving to be extremely popular for clubs to enter their u17 side or using players that are on the fringe of your u19 side.

The main draw this year will without exception be restricted to 16 teams so I suggest you enter your club asap to avoid missing out.

Presume someone has noted that the Phoenix have a home game on the Sunday evening?

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

This is disappointing, surely you would want to work around it?

It's a 7pm kick off, so probably they will work around it...

Nice one smiff ! as mentioned below the tournament is in its 29th year. Has been the same weekend for a long time, two weeks out from the Napier U19 tourney. The u19 final has been over and done with in the last two years with time to get to the game. We are well aware of this as we all want to be there too.

Will this tournament double as a relegation/welcome to Cap 1/double down party? Have you investigated KFC sponsorship?

Fair comment 4 Phoenix. Upper Hutt members are very strong supporters of The Nix. You see many at the games.

Another good weekend of Football, watch the games from the balcony while consuming either Maidstone Lager or Panhead then on the train direct to the stadium, what else can  a man want.

The Upper Hutt tournament started in 1985. Now in its 31st year. Tournament not held in 1986 due to severe winter causing senior season to finish late.

Even Feverish might just have snuck in an appearance if it goes that far back!
