Napier coach Matt Chandler gets an award for his overuse of the word outstanding. The team's warm up was outstanding. The passing during the warmup was outstanding. Jason was outstanding. The team's performance was outstanding.
 
Grant Turner's half time chat to his team was, I thought, great. To the point, clear, no ranting.
 
Well done to the boys at Olympic for trying to make a bit of noise at Newtown Park yesterday. I am puzzled by the fact that they seem to think that feminine equates with weak.
 
Big hand to the ref at Olympic/Miramar. I thought he had a great game. Yes, including the keeper's handball decision.
 
Lastly, why don't we advertise the fact that these games are on?  There's nothing in the print media. Does anything make it to radio? Anyone know?
