Capital Football would like to congratulate Scott Basalaj for winning Young Sportsman of the Year at the Hutt City Sports Awards last night. We would also like to congratulate Lower Hutt U19s, Jamie Cross and Andy Barron for being Finalists in their respective categories. We were proud to note that football had the highest number of finalists out of all sports.

We would also like to congratulate all those who have just been announced as finalists for the Wellington Sportsperson of the Year Awards:

Mark Paston, Sportsman of the Year

Jamie Cross, Official of the Year

Marco Rojas, Emerging Sportsman of the Year

Renee Leota, Emerging Sportswoman of the Year

Matt Calcott, Coach of the Year

Ricki Herbert, Coach of the Year

Miramar Rangers, Club Team of the Year

All finalists can be found here

Football is again dominating the fields, with finalists in half the categories. Great work!

Regards

Can you believe this? Petone has nominated Bradbury for Wellington Football's Hall Of fame! Was he not a protector of Williams?
would put Campbell Sutherland  at the top of the tree, John Bradbury certainly saw the light as it appeared over the Pines at Memorial, as the truth came out, and he realised the enomity of the situation.
Sadly Campbell has not, he even employed him after the Club  sent him on his way.
