Wellington United Men’s Senior Pre Season training for Premier League and Capital One players starts 12pm, on the 1st February at Te Whaea.

Newcomers/trialists are of course welcome, also any players looking to play Capital three are also welcome to attend on the day.

Women’s Central League, Premiers and U17s Men's training will be advised very shortly.

Good luck to all clubs in all competitions this this year.

Not sure I know him, what's he been doing previously?

Coached in south africa and the states mostly I think, was a goal keeper and has coached at senior and academy level. Coached the reserves his first year here when they were promoted but then took a couple seasons off as his family settled in. He's a real top bloke, passionate and has some really good ideas. Different to a lot of coaches I've had in some ways and always a lot of fun at trainings...as long as you're winning anyway!

Heard people have questioned his creds etc but I can't comment as I have no idea where that came from. All I know is he coached my team for a season and he was really good. On face value I'm confident he'll add more than 'others' have.

"Took a couple of seasons off...?" Suspect some folk at Miramar Rangers might have something to say about that...

Will they let him back into Davey F this year or will he have to coach from outside the fence?

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.
