Feilding

A growing club who seem to have added a senior team each season the last few years, up to seven men's teams now. 1st team in a transition period for a couple of years now, having won the Manawatu Prems prior to Covid but choosing not to go to Fed League, an exodus of players causing a bit of a drop off.

They started last year with a new coach and their B's moving up to 1st team. Thought they would grow into this year and have been a bit surprised by their start in the league as they looked pretty good in preseason, although their 2 nil loss up at Moturoa on the weekend is a big improvement on being spanked 10 - 1 by them at home last year. Hart twins down the left hand side are very handy.

Lucky compared to the Palmy clubs in that their clubrooms are at their ground, seems like they've moved the pitches over the summer - it used to be a massive trek to the other side of Timona Park to their number 1 pitch (which was also awful). Cheap beer and a good feed so nice place to visit.
