I'll try and be as unbiased as possible, be interesting if you guys can guess what club I am at when I finish 🤣
I'd love to know what club you are in!!
I'm also in the Manawatu, its good to see some local flavor being added on here. There is a lot of Footy happening here and overall its growing which is brilliant.
The central region is a really tough environment to bring together a truely competitive top tier with how split we are as a region and there are some entrenched club lines. What PNU did bringing together 3 clubs to build a strong base was excellent to try and bridge some of those, how thats evolved and will continue to evolve as a "Club" will be interesting in the future.
I think it is a really exciting time to be involved in footy especially in the Manawatu. I really hope that PNU manage to keep it together as I said above I really enjoy watching them play, and they keep churning out quality local young players.

I have been a bit controversial on here as I am strongly against the approach Whanganui Athletic took last year especially - I don't think we grow footy in this country by importing lower league semi-pros at the expense of our own young players. If their imports turned out to be Ryan Holdens sticking it out for years and years I'd think differently, but they have pretty much brought a different batch of six the last two seasons.

Nice to see they have been playing a few youngsters so far this year though!
