who is in charge?  What kind of wedge are you offering?  If I come back, will I be guaranteed a position playing in the Jonesy every week?

Note:  The Jonesy is the position in behind the strikers where no tracking, marking or tackling is expected.

All I do is make the stuff I would've liked
Reference things I wanna watch, reference girls I wanna bite
Now I'm firefly like a burning kite
And yousa fake fuck like a fleshlight

For all prospective new players, we also have the best playing surface in the greater Wellington area.

When are teams trialing for grades that arent prem?
Permalink Permalink
about 17 years ago · edited over 13 years ago
best bet is to ring around the clubs that your interested in/are local to your area, most teams generally don't trial, just turn up at trainings and the coach will generally assess you from what he sees, so just go harry hardout, hog the ball, don't pass and hope you fluke a 25yard screamer and that should be good enough to get you in most teams

what are triials? Just send me your details and I'll fit you in somewhere

22 years, right mid/ center mid/ right wing.

pros: Pretty quick, not bad skill, good crosser and can put through a nice ball. Can shoot.

Cons: really unfit, tiny, no left foot.

Would like to play for wellington united, any grade from say 7 down?

So you are proud that out of your first 2 mens teams (30 odd players) 10 played for you lot as juniors.
Even more stunning is that out of your womans first team 1 came up through your junior ranks and didnt have to be bought in.

You've made a glaring omission there, Mr Greene.

Your clues for today are:
A former WK midgets player who moved to Auckland with her family before she was 10.
2001 National Women's Knockout Cup Final MVP.
The only two-time winner of the NZ International Women's Young Player of the Year award.
Has played in the US W-League and in Denmark.
Two starting appearances & one as sub in the 2007 FIFA Women's World Cup Finals.
Heavily involved in the 2008 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup Finals behind the scenes.
Current OFC Media & Communications Manager.

And if you haven't figured out it's Priscilla Duncan by now, you need shooting!!!

You can read more about her achievements here:

Cheers,

JR
PS  White Ferns? Wrong code. Try the Football Ferns.

Feverish, I never said weather it was a good or bad thing that only 10 of your first 2 squads were Karori juniors. You chose to see it as a bad thing so I guess I hit a raw nerve.
Some clubs would be proud of the fact that other clubs juniors choose to play their senior footy for them.

O yeah, get fu*ked yourself

When have you ever made a positive comment (apart from for Paston)?

Yes the stats are neither a positive or a negative.

Plently of positives, some you have even agreed with me but when it comes to Wharfies its hard to be positive. I suppose thats why you thought I was being negative.
