If you are NZF playing in an Olympic qualifier, then you don't need eligible players.
Jokes aside - take a look at the Senior Playing Regs. http://www.foxsportspulse.com/get_file.cgi?id=3466...

1. Your local federation
2. Depends on level your playing at.
3. Nothing if offending team loses game, 3-0 loss and loss of any points if they didnt lose the game.
4. Refer Answer to Question 2
Q 1 Thanks
Q 2 It happened twice ! Player was registered to another Club !

It is called cheating.
Are we allowed to call it that now-a-days ? I thought it was superseded by ' I made a mistake' ! To me, if someone is that concerned about winning at grassroots level and that they are willing to cheat is up to know good !

When you don't get caught.
That's the only criteria.
Did they act in good faith?
Article 6 or 7?
Your not that far from the mark.
We had what we suspect were 4 vs us yesterday in Cap 9. The give-aways being the fact they didn't have shin pads and no one new their name.

I know it doesn't make it fair, but can you actually prove the unregistered player?
We all know that teams do it, and that players play under a different name, which means that without photo evidence it is hard to prove after the game that the player playing was not the player that actually played.
I always wondered that myself. Even when I played in Capital 1, no referee ever checked our identity...
When I was playing junior football in Italy, and later on U21 futsal, we had a card with our name, team and association we were registered to, and that card was checked against our ID card before every match, but nothing of the sort here.
It might be different in Cap Premier or Central League, but it definitely doesn't happen from Cap 1 to Cap 14.
Yeah AFAIK in Sydney they have a photo ID system and players are checked by refs every game.
Watching a mate's game a couple weeks ago I was fairly suspicious when the opposition subbed on a guy at half time who was miles better than anyone on the pitch. You'd think he would start if he was legit but my mate's team blew a 3-0 HT lead to lose 3-4 and this guy had a huge influence. Someone checked his name on the team sheet and Facebook searched him and it was some other bloke. Still too hard to enforce/prove though
Also photo IDs in the US. Caused me a hilarious problem when first tour group when there and had none. Had to rapidly fabricate some at the local print shop.
No such system in the UK though, at least not at social level.
We did have one a few years ago where Cap Prem players for one club turned out for a Cap 9 team at another club.
It was protested but primarily because the game was on Wakefield 2 next to a big Chatham Cup game and the player's in question were spotted by their normal team mates who worked for Capital football.
Their anonimity also wasn't ideal considering the father of one of them is an ex-Nighthawk.

has NZF been alerted to this to help solve the Oly-Whites problems?

Yes I can BW. It is a shame that some people think it is OK to cheat !
The person I am most pissed off about stood there and said nothing, most probably encouraged it, as his son was managing the team. Both of them and the majority of the team knew the said player wasn't a member of the club. But the fear repercussions stopped any protest at the time happening !
As a young player would you stand toe to toes with the President of a club ?
There was also a so-called official referee from CF in all his strip. But when I ask the question at CF who was the Ref. They told me that they had no one down for that game !!
FYI
The President of the said club is also a member of an advisory group that sits within the Capital Football Maze which I'm sure deals with the rules and registrations of players !
There is a great quote that comes to mind...
Do as I say or else.
Have had info that a wellington football club used a suspended player for Cap5 game on Aug23 and did so with ok from there President ('trump?') Probably worse effort than using unregistered player?
Strangely enough ... also someone who has CapFootball ties and this team was his sons.
Haha. Yeah know that Copps (aka Marron man) is in on this ... and that "Trump" and his "crooked Hellary" are quite a team there.
Problem with games down that level (and pretty much any below Cap 1-2) its very hard to confirm if player is allow to play for the team or not.
