Beautiful day yesterday, our Div 12 team was meant to be playing a friendly against a Div 14b team from Porirua, would have been mint but they were a no show. Last game of the season was 7 v 7 across the field, GAY!

Anyone else had no show's this season?

Not quite the same, but we were supposed to play Lower Hutt back to back to finish our season, they defaulted both, so we got screwed out of our last two games!

Relegation battle between Div11 Uni Wanderers v Stop Out, turned in to a 9v9 match because half our bloody team didn't show up! Thats the last time I play for Uni, especially seeing our Firsts didn't even have a proper team! Anyone suggest a good club to move to? I'm wanting to play competitive next year rather than help mates out in lower divisions.

yep, its been a crap season-blame the weather gods...BUT...

when the sun shines and a team cannot be bothered to muster then THAT team has no argument against capital football or the council/s.

Those teams should be banned to allow real football lovers more field time

WTF??  Really. That's disgraceful!!!
Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

More than that... Do something about it.
Get in touch with Lower Hutt ( http://www.lhcafc.org.nz/contact/contact.htm ) and at the very least let them know you are annoyed about it.

and cap football had to make a new grade too accomodate all the new teams this year- its time to cull some of the prentenders-an 18 game 11 a side season is a bit more of a commitment to Queen's wharf lunchtime 5 a side-don't comit if you can't see it through

Apologies on behalf of PCFC - I spoke to the manager of the team who advised that he had flicked Capital Football an email the night before.  Obviously a communication breakdown somewhere along the line.

Sorry about that.
