i wanted to go and have a look with my daughter.  she played her game this morning, then had swimming at the kilbirnie pool till around 1pm.  couldn't see a game anywhere on kilbirnie park.  assume it was moved?

i'm not intimately hooked in to regional football circles and rely on things like the banner on this site for information - that's how i found out about the game in the first place.  if it was moved, as seems to be implied by the post above "at the turf" (not that I know what ground that refers to), then it would be good if things like the banner ad for the game was changed too.  or they just stick with the ground they'd chosen in the first place, no matter how muddy.

I thought there was at least 100 on the western touch line alone, so Id estimate more like 150- But of course Ginger Eedjit would have a better view and more time to count things like the crowd. Game was a bit dull to be honest, and seeing as it was friggin freezing I left when it was three nil soon after the break- Had Marist scored I would have stayed.

The venue was changed at like 7pm the evening before, was down the Marist clubrooms after and yeah it was pretty wet on Kilbirnie Park.

Sorry the banner didn't change.  We were all tied up yesterday and couldn't get to it.

hard news
actually i shouldn't have implied it was the fault of this site at all for not changing the banner ad.  you are not capital football or whoever was responsible.  they probably could have forseen nonetheless that kilbirnie park would be unplayable and made the call much earlier to simply play it at 'the turf' - which i'm now gathering is the Ring of Whaea.  anyway it didn't put me out at all - just a shame i guess.  little girl was looking forward to seeing a women's game.  she'll just have to content herself with the mighty nix this friday eh?

Actually Edd we should have had it.

We didn't do the art work but we probably should have taken it down once it was moved.  That is our bad.
