That's a really disgraceful sight: Berisha screaming repeatedly at linesman and ref to fuck off. Should've been a straight red IMO.

Some of these guys have less self-control than a premature ejaculator.

Ono goal didnt deserve the massive jizz fest. Theo watched it go in. Shite keeping from a man of his exp on a night where he was excellent apart from said goal.

Don't think he could have reached that, even if he tried. There was an incredible amount of dip on that, but Theo was far enough off his line to allow Ono to take that chance.

Not much that Theo could have done:

Still think his 1st goal v Victory in rnd 14 was better.

Lol, I was gonna post something sarcastic about how if that was Paston people would have been abusing him for not diving.  Wasn't expecting to see anyone actually criticising Theo(klitos) for it!

Some goals are going in whether the keeper dives or not.  Just because it might make some people feel better doesn't make it necessary to dramatically throw yourself at one that you don't have a chance at.

No way Theo could get to that

The ball is never within 1.5m of Theo.

So did all the defenders. Doesn't mean they could've don't anything about it.

Since he didn't try, we will never know. I don't think he would have got it, but he did a great Paston impersonation in the process.

Yeah agreed. Had he not been as flat footed and moved as Ono shot then maybe he could have got closer to it

Permalink Permalink

Had that been us, and Paston, or Moss, the calls would be for his head

That angle doesn't help. He was in the centre of the goal, about a yard off the line and it dipped in the far corner. High quality shot, keeper no chance.

This.
I guess the only criticism that you could have of Theo was that he was off his line, but to be honest, who the fuck would have expected Ono to take a shot from there. Can't really blame him at all.

Really hope CCM doesn't choke tonight. Couple weeks back, I said that I didn't want to see a WSW v CCM final because I thought they played very similar styles. But I changed my mind, after they played a few weeks later. I want to see the two best teams battle it out next Sunday.

CCM  to win 3-2. Both Wee Mac and Marco to get on the board.

The ball is hardly travelling 100 miles per hour, is it? If he's not flat footed and actually moves in the direction the ball's hit in, he has a chance. But he certainly wasn't helped by his defenders who just stood off and gave Ono all the time in the world.

Theo should have tried to save it at least. Might not have got there but like RR said how will we ever know. Also like EG said the ball was chipped towards goal, not smashed, so he could have reacted.

I think some of you would probably be of the opinion Pele's header could never be saved if Banks didn't get to it. Same goes for Seaman's unreal save against Peschcisolido.

Three for me, and two for them.

MV are looking good here. I fancy them to steal this.

Not being a keeper and am usually critical, I agree with you. Not only was it poor, but there was no effort and he was off his line.
Mind you i have never really rated him.
