“We will meet to discuss our options for playing the postponed games, one of which is a ‘magic round’,” Townsend said.

Townsend envisaged the A-League “magic round” to be played on a midweek night, with a full round of six matches to be equally divided between a Sydney venue and a Melbourne venue.

Adelaide v City under real threat of being postponed as well.

Sydney get a dodgy pen & capitalizes on a weak back pass for a 2-0 half time lead in the ALW.

Much tighter contest in the Adelaide v City fixture, 0-0 at HT. 3 Kiwis on the park for City now on the second half.

City in control at Adelaide in the ALM's fixture at HT, 0-1.

Sydney v Roar is 1-1 at half time, no idea what's been happening there.

Ooft, Sydney lose at home to Perth. Makes our result against them all the more frustrating. Quite an interesting league this season. Lots of teams capable of beating each other

Good for us because things are still pretty tight - despite our form we're only 2 points outside of the 6 with a couple of "home" games coming up.

Roar have no strikers fit, O'Shea and Mileusnic up front. This could be dire.

Nice assist Marco.

Great ball, but the striker still had a helluva lot to do. Great finish after a bit of a dodgy touch!
