Oh well, Hernandez gets it. But if people did noticed, Ifill gets better when the pressure are strongerr, whereas Hernandez does the opposite in the game. Considering that Melbourne is an very solid and strong team in comparision worked in Hernandez favour, I think.

Hernadez - 673 votes

Many had Hernadez in their votes.

Can't see what more Ifill could have done, and to get less than half what Hernandez got ?

Bizarre...maybe some footballers are as dumb as you think.  Still I tipped the top three.

I guess, part of the footballers decision would be how well those players have performed against them during the games rather than by watching them on TV. Playing against someone makes a stronger impression than watching them on TV.

You watch them on telly and you say to yourself, I'll do this and that and he wouldn't be as good and then when you face them reality sets in how really good the player is, because despite your plan, the player was still skipping pass you, doing the things that you were watching him doing beforehand and still get away with it. But this time, you get a closer look being on the pitch and in 3D.

I'd be surprised if many players watched much games tbh.

Just looked back on Archie's two goals against GCU in round 16, neither warrant a goal of the year medal.
You know we belong together...

Well it took Hernadez's third season in the A-league to make an impression, but Ifill is in his first season in the A-league. How well did Hernadez go in the last two seasons voting???

That was a great goal. And I like how you can pin point the moment when the commentator realises what just happened.
