Anyone else notice the stand where the main tv cameras are is completely empty anf they have moved the crowds to each end of the ground and in the stand you can see? 7,000 crowd though.

Not sure he would have prevented the goal, but that is poor work

it seems like the preseason cup used to be in a way.

The final will get a few more, but still not a large attendance.

Chatham cup is still better.

This is sort of the feeling I get with it too. I guess it will take time to build it up. The simple solution would be for the A-League to have international windows. Then the quarter and semi finals could be played during the weekend of those international windows.

BG's V Pith rated 62K .... to put into perspective Super Rugby rates over its season in Australia about 74K... not a bad effort for a park team in the first year...

Sold Out

All available tickets for the inaugural Westfield FFA Cup Final on Tuesday 16 December 2014 at Coopers Stadium have been sold within three days of going on sale.

A capacity crowd of over 16,000 is expected for the decider (kick-off 7pm ACDT, 7.30pm AEDT). The match will be shown LIVE and exclusively on FOX SPORTS 505 (FOX SPORTS 4HD and 4) with coverage from 7pm AEDT.

“The inaugural Westfield FFA Cup Final has become the hottest ticket in town in its debut year,” said FFA CEO David Gallop.

“It’s an amazing story for a competition that has captured the imagination of football fans everywhere. The atmosphere at the Final will be fantastic and I thank the fans of Adelaide United and Perth Glory for embracing the big game.”

A final release of a limited number of tickets may occur closer to the match due to contractual and operational ticket hand backs. FFA will announce if and when any further allotment of tickets will be released via

Adelaide getting more into the game now after a bright Perth start.

I am expecting Zadkovich to get a red card before the game is over.

Quite surprised to see Chris Beath get the gig. So far so good but it can't last.

First Hyphen, now Risdon. Why not just forfeit the games and save the trouble. No glory for Glory tonight.

scrappy although it was good to see Adelaide played the regular A League style - get the ball up by the opposition 18 yard box and then work it back to your own goalkeeper. This A League tactic frustrates the fudge out of me. It is so negative.

Adelaide are going to drop a lot of points this season if they play like that. Against us they dominated but needed a late goal to win. I think that despite scoring plenty Adelaide are going to regret not having someone who can really bang them in.

Brisbane at their best were always a team who whenever they recieved the ball, looked to go forward.

Unlikely that Fox will choose the Phoenix vs random NPL team to be one of the televised games.

We avoid other A-League teams in the first round because we came fourth last season.
