And that's how you win games

Think we could just kidnap Moreno?

Two visa players off the bench. Smith showing how little the A league is taxing someone who was struggling and not playing in League One. Pijnaker looking like Team of the league material, out of Ireland. Elliott meaning the result’s the same with or without captain Hiroki Sakai.

Are they sleep walking this league? I mean all the late winners help. It’s ridiculous.

Great finish from Moreno. Left footed, hit hard, perfect elevation, bang!

That's where the A-League is. Our top level players are League one/Serie B level. We have players in this league, all the way down to lower semi pro level in Italy or England.
I've watched some Brisbane and some Perth this season and thought that they have guys that wouldn't get Pro-contracts in Europe.

I was just being jealous at their depth- the quality they can afford to bench and the way their defenders particularly are playing above their last level.

Pijnaker started the 2024 LOI with a bang. If he hadn't then got injured he may have been heading over the Irish Sea to a League One club, June/July last year.
Auckland signed him in September.

Be interesting to see if either him (age 25) or Dan Hall (also 25) - or both - can get a decent Euro club deal, given Auckland have the best defensive record (GA 11 in 14 games) in the ALM. Would be even better without that 0-4 loss at home to Western United, which on the balance of their season to date was a very bad day at the office.

How is Foley's Scottish franchise, Hibs going?
