The Cake Tin was built on dodgy '90s economics for a code that never uses it. Its no wonder its struggling. While its location is good and its a great atmosphere when full, its not a nice place to be in winter when empty.
Its easily the worst large stadium in NZ when wet, cold, windy and empty.
Wellington and Auckland both suffer from having stadia far to big for their flaky sports following populations. Both need a 20k rectangular stadium.
