Travis Dodds was really ordinary tonight. Funny how when he's off his game Adelaide go badly. Cristiano wasn't much better either. Bit of a lazy streak in him for all his fancy skills.

I don't know, they look pretty panicy at the back, you could score against them but it would take a monumental effort to stop them doing the same.

I watched the game and GCU really did look impressive. Jason Cullina and Smeltz look like the insude runners for the Johnny Warren.

Dare I say it but at the rate they are going and the way they are playing, could they go undefeated?

Adelaide's new guy Shin looked to have a classsy touch for the short time he was on.

Had to laugh when the Aussie media were saying what a great signing he was, while at the same time saying how lost Phoenix would be without Smeltz. Never mind that Owusu has come out of League 1 while Ifill was playing in the championship last year.

Regarding the game, while GCU obviously had the better of the first half I thought Adelaide were better in the second half, but were just wasteful in front of goal. It showed that if you go out to play then GCU are beatable.
