But is it going to be good for the Heart if they rely on Villa too much? These massive stars are never going to be here during the finals.
General A-League discussion
I understand the argument and I see the concern, however on balance surely this is a good thing? Rich committed owners, top quality players, potential global exposure - all good things for the competition as a whole. Much better than having the Heart as they were carrying on I would think.
members only active support areas being proposed for next season. What a joke if true. Link
It is true. We've got special and more lenient rules. Basically people just need to provide ID when purchasing match day tickets.

Can swap tickets. Just need to show ID. Showing ID is the only change. Club has worked hard to achieve that. So be thankful we won't be subject to what the FFA will do to other clubs.
FFA are shite.
How strong is the A-league?
How much can we take from these friendlies?
have they shown that we can compete on a much bigger scale that previously thought?
will these results bring out more teams? and make them look more closely at our players?
Dunno what thread to put this in really, but here will do. Man City, Chelsea, Real Madrid and Barcelona rumoured to be playing a 4-way tournament in Melbourne next July; AFL packing a sad that they want to use the MCG: http://www.smh.com.au/sport/soccer/mcg-infuriates-afl-over-decision-to-host-world-soccer-powerhouses-20140812-1039ym.html?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter
How loan's are accounted for in the salary cap has been reviewed.
Sensible I reckon. Was a pretty obvious way to rort the cap.
Maybe they could have introduced it next season though, as it's a bit unfair to change things up so late.

Well it creates parity so a good move

Kingz: "Worst. Name. Ever."
Nah I liked the way they incorporated N Z into the name
Roar v CCM Pre-Season Stream
Ibini, Juric, Milligan & Hyphen to miss the first round with Socceroos commitments. Abbas missing it also after being called up by Iraq.
WSW v CCM moved to Wed 19th Nov (Rnd 6), WSW v Roar moved to Wed 3rd Dec (Rnd 8) to accommodate the ACL final.
I am so pleased that there is absolutely NOTHING like that involved with the Yellow Fever experience.
Muppets.

That's the east European muppetness coming out in them. So glad that kiwis of Italian/Greek/Slavic/Turkish decent don't seem to behave like this.

with a couple of female linesmen (whatever) now, I wonder how far away we are from our first female referee taking charge of a game.
Needs more Sian Massey
More about Matthew Conger anyone?
I agree with this. Aussie teams have been pretty successful bringing guys back from overseas but the stars of the show are still the foreigners. Things are going well, why change now?
AFC requirement I understoond?

Yeah, could be a little pressure to implement the 3+1 rule in the HAL (4 foreigners, 1 which has to be Asian)

I am hoping that when expansion occurs, the aussie squads will be a little bit weaker than we currently see now and to the 'Nix's benefit. (unless Akl is next for expansion :P )

Considering we rely on Australian Journeymen I can't see it helping us much.
Gallop also takes time to confirm that yes indeed the Pope is Catholic.
money over fans and competition integrity. Sad.

And of course it hurts us more than other teams. #conspiracy
