Holy hell, Smeltz does brilliantly to create a ridiculously easy chance, then Bahrains it over the open goal!

Djulbic is a better keeper than van Stratten.  Can't say I'm shocked.

LOL Newcastle can't even score when Beeth allows them to take out van Stratten!

Kennedy does well to not foul Smeltz in the box and Porter becomes the fourth of the night to miss an open goal.

I know he's had injury issues but Porter has been a big disappointment so far.

So, do we reckon the A League is better than League 1 (bc Porter's record in League 1 was better), or worse than the Conference (bc Smeltz' record better in A League than Conference), or better than La Liga Pirmera Division (bc John Aloisi's record for Osasuna better than for Sydney)?

StopOut is right though.  He's been dreadful, collapses if someone goes near him and butchers chance after chance.

Yeah, I'm happy we don't have Porter but an interesting thought, Marius.  Would A-League be upper division 1/lower Championship level?  Better than SPL (bar big two)?
