It's been obvious for a long time that the owners aren't interested in investing for success, they target a finals spot and then hope for the chips to fall the right way. The fact they don't know much about football is also obvious from a lot of decisions made in the past. Keeping Kalezic around would have fallen in the "completely boneheaded" range, not the "doesn't know much about football" one.

They got stung on say Kosta and don't want to waste money. Maybe they're not all football people- that's why they've hired Rudan.
If they just wanted a hot investment there are a lot better ones than the Nix. If they want out so be it- they've made a huge contribution. Now get Rudans signing done.
I hate how the season is so short contracts always hang over the end of it. Get that license and lock in the bedrock
