Smeltz would have scored that a month ago

Yeah, Buncey's red was brining down Damian Mori.  Bunce made the decision as the last defender to flatten him from behind outside the area, knowing it was a red, but Mori landed in the area and O'Leary gave a Pen.

Gribbers and Buari, both in the first half.  If Melbourne hadn't put a reserve side out in Perth the week before they might not have finished last.

If that had happened would the Knights still be around?

No.  FFA had already pulled the license by that stage.  NZFC was propping them up with Ricki coaching since just before Xmas.

Went to CHina, when he finishes there is joining Gold COast, if the club hasn't collapsed by then.

What did he say ?

His demeanor said "f**k this."

He said that things off the pitch are clearly talked about and affecting the players.

Was also blatantly frank in saying there needed to be a stable line up for success.

oh dear, feel sorry for Culina. Good to see Fury beat them though. Pity Brockie didn't score as well.

I'm so happy we didn't sign Brockie.  What a lazy prick, he just lumbered round the field at his own pace doing nothing.  His positioning was atrocious and he could scarcely stay on a non-stationary player.  Even when he had that (sort've) one on one he just sauntered up really slowly.

Hilarious to see CCM sponsored by Jim's Plumbing.

One of those old scoreboards had Steven O'Dor's name. I wonder how his studies are going? Imagine we could see him back in the A-League with the Melbourne Heart.

Back on topic... Gold Coast are in a deep, deep trough of sh*t. Morale in the camp must be nil.

I laugh (or is that shudder?) that numpties on 442 etc still call for the FFA to revoke the Phoenix license when there are mickey mouse outfits like GCU going around.

I think your being a bit harsh. Yes his workrate was poor but he looked lively enough on the ball. Alot better than jason spanulo, who must be the worst starting mid fielder in the a league.
