just wondering why i bothered staying up to watch this, can see why these two teams are near or on the bottom of the league.

and for one of those teams coming on as a late sub is Isaka Cernak. He used to be a starting player for us. #howfarwe'vecome

Couldn't help but feel sorry for fans of both teams, pretty dire by both.

A fair few games have been pretty average lately.

Is it because of the tight schedule maybe?

Can't believe the top two teams of last season are in the bottom half.

Good for the league though, brings some variety.

Btw the WSW have scored a total of 6 goals so far this season, the Nix 23 :)

what was actually happening was the player trying to attack the fans or was it the other way round .

The fans had a go at the players as they left the field, Cole said they were trying their best and the fans attacked Cole.

I think it's kinda funny to see how quickly the whole RBB/WSW love affair has turned on itself the moment its hit a little adversity. Don't forget that at least some of their poor form would be attributable to all the travel and disruption caused by the ACL and CWC campaigns - so the very success that made some of those fans so arrogant is a contributing factor as to why they're so pissy now. It's also funny to think that not only is the fanbase turning on the players unlikely to help morale and form, but it would potentially put off some future signings - who wants to play for a club where the fans act like that towards you? All of which gives me a bit of the ol' schadenfreude.

On the other hand, it's a very bad look for the A League which already has to battle preconceived ideas about violent thuggish fans in Australia - an image which hasn't been helped by the actions of what the RBB always say are a minority of WSW fans. Football in Australia doesn't need stories about fans jumping advertising hoardings to try to assault (their own) players. The whole thing is just very, very ugly.

This is a sharkty incident and a sharkty look for the league as a whole. But it is just a tiny bit amusing.

Or to put it another way- RBB are dicks.

There seems to be a deficit of fun in a lot of their supporter activities. Flares and protests. Capos and regimented chanting. And the Posnan FFS. You can't see the game when you do that!

It's more difficult for them I guess. Yellow is a natural colour of fun. Same as why I didn't like Danny Doolans taking over the Cock 'n' Bull- red and black are both aggressive colours- red of blood and black of death...so I guess it is a bit more difficult to be light hearted! A wall of red and black is more intimidating than a wall of RetroRicki yellow.

Most RBB fans did not get involved, even his buddies are holding him back. It's great by the players to face the fans and try to talk to them.

In every fan club some you find some nut heads, who can't control themselves if their team play rubbish, I did NOT joined the conga line ;-)

when we get angsty after a bad season we conga line. RBB steal banners and fight it seems.

True, but even the banner they held up reinforced their general violent attitude...

Ah, right. Still an interesting choice of banner when they always claim they are trying to discredit the thug stereotype

and in the context easily misinterpreted.

I see 2 fans holding hands and a sly reach-around. Saddened but not surprised that it's still illegal in Australia.
