Rest of A-League Transfer (Now with 99% RR - Love your work)
BREAKING: Adrian Mierzejewski is heading to China with Sydney FC receiving a $1.3 million transfer fee. https://t.co/FIEWOtqlb8
— SBS - The World Game (@TheWorldGame) July 4, 2018
1.3m transfer fee for Adrian, 800k for Bobo. Sydney fans blaming the salary cap for not being able to keep them despite it being the club who accepted bids for players on contract.
The A League is not a "Quality League", even without a salary cap, good players would look to move on to better comps, whether Asia or Europe.
What this does show, is the A League is being scouted. Hopefully some of the money is pumped back into their development programs and they develop young Aussies in the future... much like I hope the NIX do here.
Sydney effectively made 1.3 million on a player they got a year ago on a free - fans should be loving that!
