Cant stand him when plays against us but im sure Moore suits yellow and black stripes.
we don't need another CB
I think they have played Tahj Minnecon up front with Smeltz and Porter. So I think they have that option.
I'm still wondering though, GC need a striker as well as defenders. If Smeltz leaves, what will they do ? Play Porter alone up front, can't see that getting them anywhere...
Moore and Miller are a pretty god team together though, despite their positions of the pitch. They have known each other for years so know how the other plays well.. Moore at GCU could make a difference though.
Either that or..
A move to GCU will cut down the time it takes to training.
I wonder if any more Brisbane players want to head to the Gold Coast.
This?

Wont happy as he will want to play until May to keep in shape for the World Cup. Melbourne has been offered to him and he is best mates with Muscat.
Scotland or Melbourne it will be for Craig Moore.
Ange Postecoglu is the worst coaching appointment in A-League history.

Probably just the Lavicka thing

Moore has been linked to GCU but makes you wonder how they could fit him in the cap?
That wouldn't be the problem, the problem would be choosing what high-paying "job" Mrs Moore would receive at Clive's company
Sutee Suksomkit's guest/ loan period is over at Melbourne, and he is joining Ney Fabiano at Bangkok Glass FC in the Thai Premier League.
He (and Sukha) looked good in Thailand's Asian Cup qualifier against Jordan the other day, I liked the look of the striker Winothai as well. According to Wikipedia was in the youth systems at Crystal Palace and Everton, but he's just moved to Belgium. If it doesn't work out for him there I'd take him.

Thought I'd start this up like the other one in the main forum...
Also, as clubs are moving to secure players for next season and Socceroos looking for loans etc...
Craig Moore the latest Brisbane Roar casualty. Released from his contract and now likely to join Scottish club St Johnstone.
He follows Charlie Miller and Liam Reddy out the Brisbane door.
Also, John Tambouras and Matt Smith have re-signed for the Fury until end of 2011/12 season.

I tell you this - outgoing players could have more of an impact than incoming players.
Mile Jedinak left CCM at this time last year, and the wheels fell of CCM completely. They only made the playoffs because we weren't good enough.
If Moore/Culina/Sterjovski/Archie go, this will have an impact on the playoffs. Heck, Smeltz has been linked to a move, but never went through with it. He's scored 2 more goals than Adelaide.

Lavika and Mach are staying on at sydney
Told ya
Yays. Good News
McGarry (Steven not Michael) Motherwell midfielder to Perth also Dino Djlbic has left his German club and is training with GCU
And Mr A Griffiths back training with GCU
hayden foxe signs with sydney til end of the season.
Bwahahaha... if they wanted a rubbish, perpetually injured ginger they could have had WIlso for less.
I really do hate to say this but GCU with A Griffiths back (if they keep Smeltz) will be very very difficult to knock over. f**kERS
Speaking of which, anyone got any reports, speculation etc over Smeltz ?

FORMER Brisbane Roar marquee Craig Moore has joined former Socceroo
goalkeeper Zeljko Kalac at Greek Super League side Kavala, the club has
claimed on its website.

Didn't see that one coming. Comments below the article are quick to talk down the A-League, but I can't imagine the Greek league is a very good level.
The top few sides are pretty good and do okay in Europe but it can fall off badly beyond that.
the top teams in greece, are years ahead of the a league, but the bottom teams and maybe some of the mid table teams, wouldnt be any better then the top a league teams, maybe just better in a tecnique sense, excuse my spelling

Actually, that was Surat Sukha's twin brother, Suree. Was at the game, and thought he was excellent at right wingback. Looked very good with the ball at his feet when going forward.
Teerathep Winothai had a good game too, but suffered from a case of the "Greenacres", being left to do a lot of work on his own as a smallish guy playing a lone front role. I lost count of the times a cross would go in to him, when he was 1 on 3 in the box. When he had the ball at his feet and ran at defenders he looked very good. That's about the 3rd game I've seen him play live, and by far the best.
Teerathep was at a 2nd Division club in Belgium last season, but struggled to get games and secured a loan move to Muang Thong United for the second half of the Thai season (July -Oct). I'm not sure whether he's back in Belgium now, or if the move was made permanent.
Brisbane have signed a new Belgain CB Pieter Collen to replace Craig Moore:
Has won a Uefa Cup and played in Champions League. Appeard twice for Belgain.
Maybe ok.

Looks like an amazing signing on paper, glad we played them before he came to town.
