'turned behind for a goal kick'.  No, he tried a series of embarassingly slow stepovers which no one bought and then launched it high, wide and handsome.

Drink whenever the commentators fap over Kewell. You should be passed out in the fetal position by half time.

Three for me, and two for them.

Why are both teams in away kits?

Both Newcastle kits clash with their home kit.  FFA at their best in approving those kits.

newcastle home and away kit clash with victory home kit so victory had to wear their little fluro number......

Never realized what a lazy bugger Kewell is in defence!robags2012-01-07 22:25:22

I was thinking about that the other day, we have only worn our away kit once or twice. Not so good for shirt sales.

More what HN said tbh but our away kit is better.

...Sells itself

But maybe there is something about our away form that the team think they are better off keeping with whats familiar, rather than wearing the away kit if its not entirely necessary.TopLeft072012-01-07 22:30:39

Good that Muscat isn't staying on as coach. Too many close ups of him.

Tim Brown and Nayim did it better.

dam was hoping for a scoreless draw. Is there any chance Newcastle can grab a win here?

Based on that half no. Neither team really looks like scoring.

Pretty even first half really. Own goal for Melbourne. Newcastle certainly had a few chances to score.

They look a bit like us in front of goal though.  At no point did I think they were going to actually get one back.

Yea. Even when they did come close, I never actually thought they were going to score.

And Newcastle have been opening up big time at the back at times.
