Piss poor crowds, constant FFA bullshark, a moronic football media, incompetent VAR, generally average football and, yes, a failed Nix have made this season an utter dud for me. The Jets under Ernie were about the only bright spot but in the end even they got swamped by the systemic failure of this poorly run league.
Also a fairly meaningless final when we all know Sydney FC are clearly the best team in the league.
You could say that about any Cup final. The best team does not always win it.
Correct, but it's a shark way to decide a league winner. No sane person will argue that Melb Victory were the best team in the league in 2018.
It didn’t decide the league winner. It decided the finals series winner. Which is a cup competition at the end of the league season. That’s how I always see it anyway.
