City host the Roar tonight as we start our quest to see who will lift up the toilet seat.

I had thought the Jets would win the toilet seat this year, but with their captain out and they having sold their main goal scorer, i dont think so anymore.

Anyway tonights game -City by two - Id rather Roar take it tonight( the old guys winning has an appeal) but cant see it happening.

Huge game, huge crowd. Must be hundreds of people there.

City on top early, only Young keeping them out atm

Not sure how City haven't scored yet

Yeah, Roar have barely crossed the halfway line in 30 minutes.

Virtually every bit of enjoyment I get out of watching Arzani is undercut by him being such an annoying little dickhead.

Game over, 2-0 City.

Dario really has been fantastic for City

Attendance of 7757 for City tonight, thats absolutely shambolic and caused by a variety of factors. Melbourne has 4.8 million people! Puts our crowds in perspective as having decent core backing relative to that.

Lost all the usual streaming links. Anything that works?

First Row does not load, nor does wiz net.

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

Vinnie's getting quite grey around the muzzle. A yellow card within a minute - that's the Lia we know and love!

Goal of the season? Vic 2 Reds 1.

The VAR has given a red for that all season, Vargas really lucky to remain on the park

Permalink Permalink

The Hoff should have scored, free header a couple yeards out

And City score from their first chance of the game after a poor clearance by Duncan

Permalink Permalink

Both GKs have had trouble with goal kicks and clearances tonight.

Kotahitanga. We are one.

Honestly, why bother with VAR? What a joke.

Permalink Permalink

VAR blows another call, City should have had a penalty there

Permalink Permalink

And Duncan is broken, Mossy coming on to save the day

Permalink Permalink

Jets easily the best side but go into the break down 0-1. Vargas lucky to be still on the park, the yellow card he was should could have been a red on another day

Permalink Permalink

Agreed, Ernie should bench him. This is a pretty exciting match so far.

Comically poor refereeing. The single most obvious yellow card you will see but Brattan gets away with it.

What. A. Goal. 1-1

Ernie's reaction!

Kotahitanga. We are one.
