VAR back now. What a crock of shark.

Yep, was a pleasure watching the restart without it, even if we did cop some poor calls. Ufuk will be happy but the way these things go you can just about bet your bottom dollar we'll get stung with a VAR shocker against Perth.

As much as I want Dura to have success, if I have to see Rudan's smug face lifting the seat next Sunday I dunno if my TV will survive

Yes never been much of a city fan either but will take them over Western United.

These 1-0 games are kinda annoying (including CL final). Hopefully more goals on wednesday

VAR says no to a J-Mac goal

If WU win good on them, But City are my team if picking a winner. I just don't wanna see SFC in the final as it will just bring another dark cloud over the A-League again.

Took the commentators an age to realise the offside was from the goal kick. It was obvious from the very first replay.

Can't be offside from a goal kick (I never knew that tbh, I knew about throw ins tho)

OK guess I shouldn't have sounded so smug! So the offside was from the header onward, which seemed a lot tighter. Guess I'm not used to VAR working out it out in under 5 minutes with a multitude of blue and red lines.

I dunno about this penalty, J-Mac was slipping before the contact

Yeah, he got it right, but sticks in the craw that he wouldn't give us penalties for a damn sight more contact than that.

btw, about 10 minutes into the 2nd half I discovered to my discomfort that despite Rudan I want WU to win this. MC are so bland.

If it wasn't for the Rudan factor, I would be fully behind Western. They are the best team to watch from the final four.

If we end up with a City vs Glory Grand Final, that will be like watching paint dry.

I guess it'll have to be. As you say, an MC v Perth final would be a disappointment.

Anyway, will have watch the replay of this one later.

Here's a fact to brighten up your evening: we are now the only team still in the competition that's been in the league for more than one season not to make the grand final.

How many handball goals have there been in finals against other teams?

Should have been this year. With Hooper we could have won this. Easily.

Must've been all those remarks from the Zone to Reddy about his drinking habits that inspires him against us.

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

If SFC win the final it will go down as another dark day in A-League history, We really need City to win to get us out of staleness the league has gone through. A breath of fresh air is what City bring and them winning would put the HAL out of the shadows and in a good place for next season to kick off.
