have to say, apart from slater getting on my nerves and farina having a sneaky drink between breaks..this pre-game build up is quite enjoyable! lots of interviews and old footage!

Agreed re: pre match. Our ones were pants. But I hope we get SOMETHING back, at least some post match interviews.

Wonder if Sky is going to Screw us tomorrow with the coverage and just do the game - nothing else?

As for the game: Who do I want out more? Hmmm...probably GC. Go Newcastle.

hate all this pro-aussie sh*t on the build-up. I understand: they're aussies, they are talking to an aussie audience, but how can Robbie Slater defend Muscat's conduct? even farina and bozza said that by wanting to be the hard man and then rolling around like a cheap bollywood actor you loose credibility.

Thats the aussie way.
Any aussie thats half good is fantastic,
any aussie thats good is brilliant,
any aussie thats great, even if just for a second, is World Class,
( oh yes,  that will be yet "another aussie forging a path for the world to follow" )
eg: any goal the aussies score in the w.c. WILL BE WORLD CLASS, even if it comes of someones arse.
Here in aus, yet another self indulgent aussie splooge fest is always just around the corner.

Hence the beauty in kicking their arse

The footage they're digging up is good but the banter between those two idiots is driving me nuts. Mel reminds me of Lana on Sport's Cafe.

Ask an aussie, he'll tell you the kiwi always wants it that way.

Yeah I made the mistake of thinking kick-off was 9...then I realised the time difference was 3 hours.

C'mon the Jets!

caravella has been dreadfully out of position about three times in three minutes. does he know what he's doing at RB? just lucky newcastle's final pass or option has been weak.

Miron is good coach though Marius.  I mean Caravella has played full back lot's of times this season... oh, hang on.

I'll wait until i see it at ground level some more before I give the pitch a pass mark. Hard News2010-02-20 22:15:18

Newcastle don't look like they want to finish. Not taking their chances well at all.

I like Abbas though...class.

Actually, when you see it at a flatter angle, it looks quite bumpy the pitch.
