You could cut the atmosphere with a knife at the Charles Chickens this evening.

Hope we play better than that against Roar next week.

If you are old and wise you were probably young and stupid

Well, there is some quality and pace in the A League.  Can we match it.  Yes we can.  I hope ...

Just watched the highlights on iSKY. I wouldn't be surprised to see Flappi back for the Victory next week. Probably 3 of the goals were because of Thomas. The 2nd goal when he was blocked off from going for the ball by his own defenders was comical.

keepers generally get nothing in the a-league though

Normo's coming home

Necevski got a free kick out of Sigmund last week for way less than what Berisha was doing to Thomas prior to the Nichols goal.

Victory were shit though.

Hard to get a read on Brisbane due to Victory being totally useless. The goals weren't typically Brisbaney (apart from the fifth):

1. quick throw in

2. corner

3. long ball from the back

4. ugly up and under with the keeper being wrestled out of the way

Probably the most positive outcome from that game will be that Victory will now do a massive whinge about having to play during an international window, which might be good for us next season.

Any idea when this inevitable whinge will happen? Have heard Ange do a couple of pressers, and he's barely mentioned it at all, apart from saying that it wasn't a factor.

We would possibly have lost 3-0.

Didn't say it would be a public whinge. Behind the scenes will do nicely.

Do you agree that the A-League should break for international windows or not?

Dodgy Keeper

I'm not convinced.

My mate saw it and immediately turned to me and said "keeper should have done better there"

Now that you mention it there's definitely a case that Kennedy didn't do his best to keep it out.

Three for me, and two for them.

If he was any further off his line he'd be in the wall.

My favourite commentary line was in the Sydney v jets game

Something along the lines of "ADP came over to take that corner. Shows how much of a winner he is" (with suspicious fapping noises in the background)

Was he implying some deep conspiracy or simply poor keeping?

I Looked at the game on highlights last night and conclude ADP is a cheat. He took the freekick about 5 metres closer to the Jest goal than where the foul on him was committed!!!

Hard to prove anything with Kennedy. He's all over the place at the best of times.
