I think Auckland would be best served with a 12k rectangular stadium with terracing at both ends and seating in the two main grandstands. Possibly work for Auckland Rugby as well as football. If bigger crowds need bigger stadiums, they still have their other 2 options. How do Aucklander's feel about locations? The Old Rugby League Stadium (Carlaw Park) down near Britomart would have been a good location in it's day.
