Hate to break it to ya but we are already in the bottom division. No where to go but up!

Haha so 3 teams have 2 Red cards, all three of them are in the 4th Division.

One team, I think it was battle hill, had 6 yellows and 1 red (taken as 5 yellows and a red as it was 2nd yellow for the red) to plummet down the table haha added a whole point to his PPG

So really I need Halcones or Tawa FC to get 2 more Yellows than I do in the final round to avoid the bottom of the Fair Play title.

Woops I was going to do a preview write up of the final round but forgot its tonight!

Anybody have a quick run down of their divisions big games?

Think division 1 is all but sorted.

Are elite playing Fafe in division 4? If so, that would have to be game of the round.

I'll also begin chasing up those who haven't confirmed their interest in the next season when I get home, as well as posting final tables and awards for this season.

I reckon the main point of interest is how many cards Tegal and Thunderthighs get and whether the Lilywhite Trains can hold onto the fairplay award!

Well I'm not playing. So you'd have to get 5 points to fall behind me (come on red card!). I also need TTU to pick up just 2 yellow cards to stay ahead of him. TTU needs you to pick up 4 points and to be squeaky clean himself to win outright.

Don't ask me what happens if its a tie. Coin toss I suppose. Don't ask me what happens if its a 3 way tie.

With the Division2 title already won, the the only thing left to play for in tonights games:

Racing Club North Shore vs. Sky Valley

Khandallah Lokomotiv vs. Nigh nigh Soccer Club

is second place.

Sky Valley need to better Nigh Nigh's result to keep second spot.

Apart from that the other point of interest is whether Soren Kofoed can hold onto the golden boot award in what is a down to the wire contest:

Can Bruce Armit or Richard Carey net 10? And if they can, will Soren remain scoreless and have the crown slip from his grasp?

Or could Tim Hickey go on a goal rampage and steal the cherished prize right out of his team mate's hands?

Well in Div 4, 2nd is up for grabs, AD Fafe need a draw to retain the spot, while any other result with Elite beating Los Halcones would see Elite promoted.

It also looks like the Golden Boot is sewn up as well with Leilei leading, and his nearest competition not playing tonight.

As it currently stands Los Halcones lead 1-0 against Elite FC, while Highlands and Fafe are tied 0-0

I claim Melddahl as per game victor ;-). Good luck tonight.

Los Halcones lead 3-1, while it is still 0-0 for Fafe

Trains up 1 - 0 at half time. No yellows.

Scores still the same in Div 4, looks like Elite is going to lose to Los Halcones and make my result not matter.

Permalink Permalink

Los Halcones lead 4-1 over Elite, and Fafe lead 2-0 over Highlands, looks like game over and Fafe will join Whippingboys in Promotion

Tricky Trains - subbing after getting a yellow card, I like your thinking.

And my replacement DL got injured, into injury time still 2-0

2-1 deep in injury time...

Permalink Permalink

Fafe win 2-1 & Los Halcones win 4-1 to see Fafe promoted finally!

Nigh nigh score 5 mins into injury time and win 1 - 2 at The Bush.

4-1 win pops the Falcons up to 3rd place, happy with that result :)

Academy going well, better turnout at the stadium and better income should make for a better run next season

CRIKEY! Paraparaumu Disjointed going inactive almost created an interesting situation in the premiership! Instead of me winning it relatively comfortably, TTU and I ended up on the same points and GD, but I won it by having one more goal scored!

Division 2

I took out the 2nd promotion spot after coming from behind to beat division 2 champs Khandallah lokomotiv. Capitalising on Sky Valleys heavy defeat to Racing Club North Shore

Division 3

Tawa AFC pinches top spot on goal difference after taking a point in the Tawa Derby. Had to hurt for Tawa FC to see their Tawa rivals win the division in their own ground! Surge Thunder FC avoids the wooden spoon and hands it to Battle Hill F.C by beating them  with a 57th minute winner and hanging on for a 3-2 win (their first win of the season - and what a time to get it!)

Tawa FC 1 - 1 Tawa AFC

Battle Hill F.C 2 - 3 Surge Thunder FC

Division 4

Elite F.C goes down 4-1 in their bid to get promotion. It wouldn't have mattered anyway as AD Fafe won 2-1 over Highlands FC to clinch promotion - finishing just a point behind Waikato Whippingboys. Los Halcones Locos FC move up to 3rd place and avoid what their manager thought would be relegation to non-league football :p

AD Fafe 2 - 1 Highlands FC

Elite F.C. 1 - 4 Los Halcones Locos FC

WINNERS

Premiership - tegal - Doesn't have to pay 15 pro days!

Division 2 - Khandallah Lokomotiv - 12 pro days

Division 3 - Tawa AFC - 10 pro days

Division 4 - Waikato Whippingboys - 7 pro days (Paid by Ramtallica)

Fairplay - Khandallah Lokomotiv - 5 pro days (Paid by Ramtallica)

Pro days will be paid next week, as they would be a bit wasted during the TM  offseason. If you'd prefer them paid now, let me or Ramtallica know.
