No they didn't.

Loz got banned but he's now unbanned.  No knitting circle sign-on is currently banned.

They didn't get banned (other than Loz I think, but that was a long, long time ago).

Jus got back from filming the game. Probably one of the more boring games I have seen in a while but it is a friendly warm up game after all. Unfortunately because I was trying to concentrate on filming I didnt get to make too much notice of who was who in either team. All I know is the Nix didnt even get out of 1st gear. They were very clearly a class or 3 better than Waitakere but then you would expect that. They just didnt really change gear. if it had been a game where they needed to win by 8 goals they would have won by 10. Man for man better across the park and off the ball movement so much better. Not sure why but they just didnt seem to hit the throttle, probably because its so early in pre season.

Back from game, thoughts on players;

Pav obviously looked good
Downey continues to impress me with his overlapping runs, although he leaves the left wide player unmarked for long periods.
Tsattalios looks quite good
Bryan Bran is strong in the air and has good positioning and heading technique.
Pantelis yet to show much in the two games played up here.

Anyone got news on Ifill? Went off in the first half. Also Vinny's leg was pretty heavily strapped and iced post match.

Ifil got the first from a penalty. Right in the bottom corner but the keeper got close. Just have to mention the Waitakere keeper was the worlds slowest at taking goal kicks....

Robinson kept 2nd half. Not sure who it was in the 1st half.

no tv cameras there but tv1 just asked for some of my crap footage for some story they are doing for tomorrow night or the night after.
