According to the Stadium website there are 3,500 non public seats (hopefully they will all turn up).

3,500 + 10,619 = 14,119 which seems pretty consistent with PAX numbers being reported.

Sell another 2k each of tomorrow and Saturday and another 1,000 the rest of tonight / Sunday and we go close to 20k.

Personally I think we'll nudge 22k - 23k with continued publicity over the next couple of days and the predicted good weather.

I don't even know what PAX is or what it stands for.  Can anyone help me out?

And stadium members - I'm guessing they're just the type who work for the stadium?

Excuse my n00bery.

Nah they will be the non-public seats. Seats that are always reserved for you regardless of what event it is.

There's a ticket number printed on each of the tickets which can give you a rough idea of number of tickets sold so far.

The actual word PAX stands for passengers on planes, boats etc.

Our targets are:

8,965 - Our home average this season. DONE

9,205 - Perth's home average this season. DONE

12,822 - Perth's biggest home crowd this season. Pfffft, should be a piece of piss.

13,157 - Perth's biggest ever A-League crowd. Are you joking? We will smash this easy!

14,327 - Our biggest crowd at RoF this season. No problem. Consider it done.

18,156 - The capacity of Perth's stadium. Seriously under threat. We could get this.

18,345 - Our biggest ever A-League crowd at RoF. Yep, well within sight.

19,258 - Our biggest home crowd this season. We want our record back Chch!!

20,000 - Because it would be f**king cool. Yeah, boyeee...

34,500 - The capacity of RoF. Why not? Let's sell the f**ker out.

50,000 - lets overun the stadium security and pack out the inside ring as well.

Geez, if you guys get so enthusiastic over an elimination semi, imagine if the RoF ever hosts a Grand Final. Your heads will totally explode.

Capacity is 20,500 thanks to additional temporary stands being added for the Glory.

Our record NSL crowd is 43,242 for the 2000 Grand Final, which was about a 1000 more than what we got the week before for the Preliminary Final against the Gong...

First ever Glory final - 25,000 with scalpers asking up to $1000 a ticket for the game.

EDIT - Bovs has done a good review of the previous finals of the club back in the old days...I've been to all of the home ones except the 98/99 Marconi game. Hes missed out the finals series that had 6 rounds before Glory played a home Grand Final

Another target - 18,453 - the attendance at the so-called major semi-final at Etihad Stadium last night.  If we beat that, and it seems unlikely Gold Coast will do better, then we'll be the top attendance of the first weekend of the finals.  If that's the case I think the league will be very keen to retain the Phoenix.

Ticketek system now allocating multiple tickets out of Aisle 35. I think last night the system was allocating multiple tickets out of Aisle 17 so looks like half the stadium sold i.e. around 17,000 (including stadium tickets and corporates).

Most of the multiple tickets are now being sold in the away supporters bay...

Away supporters bay is Aisle 1 (according to ticketek site anyway). Looks like Aisles 35 and 36 are filling - I imagine the system will then start filling Aisles 16, 15 ....

It is looking like 20k will be well and truly exceeded !!!!

P.S. Looks like, in the ticketek system, Aisles 36 and 1 are being treated as away supporters areas - must be expecting a huge contingent from Perth or the plan is to flood the area with Nix supporters to drown out the away crew or it's Ticketek...........

Multiple tickets now being allocated out of Aisles 14 and 15.

I suspect (hope) a truck load of tickets are being sold today - last day of the working week, forecast is great, plenty of publicity on radio.........

Aisles 7 to 12 are gold so if 13 upwards get filled the "closed area" Aisles 2 to 7 will be forced to open for silver sales.

Come-on Wellington - bury the A-League attendance record.

You mean like Christchurch or Auckland - slinks away to exorcise demonic thoughts.

P.S. bury the New Zealand A-League attendance record

While the crowd is looking good, I think you will get more satisfaction when you beat the 19,238 for a regular season game...It should be expected that you would break the record for the club's first ever final...

Yeah, but that game wasn't really a 'regular' season game either seen as it was the only game most of those people could have gone to see all season.

Anyone know what the deal was with the pricing of tickets being sold at Midland Park today?

I got told the pricing for the tickets was something like $28/$37 dollars for tickets, WTF?

Ahh, not in Aisle 22 Row AA, I've got most of those already :P

I'm not sure why these are considered 'released', since you could always buy them. Probably just not through their sh*tty online ticketing system (where you can't choose an area to sit)Ard Righ2010-02-19 17:44:54
