Think this quite a clever deal from the Hurricanes:

In a New Zealand first - we've got your back in 2016 with free home finals tickets. Yip, that's right, you back us, and if the team goes the distance, then so do you! If the Hurricanes play any final game (quarters, semi or final) at Westpac Stadium you will receive one free ticket per membership you hold!
What they're not advertising is the shabby treatment of Season Ticket Holders and Foundation Season Ticket Holders who have no priority booking for the British Lions match against the Hurricanes (depleted of All Blacks) unless they pay for a two season membership. Also, priority booking for the British Lions Test Match is only available by buying the Elite package for two seasons, an eye-watering $1798 + bf (2 seasons membership at $899 per season)
Price gouging must be the main motivation for this pricing of memberships with access to B Lions tickets. Which looks like an attempt to drive away local fans to satisfy the demand of overseas travelling fans of the B Lions, who will pay higher ticket prices
