I will be disappointed if Auckland doesn't get two games... I watch every game, but the reality is, bar for these game the opportunity to travel is not realistic and the TV is not the same.
And whilst I may not help the bottom line through buying a season pass, I do help build the brand through talking about it and sharing in its success. There are a lot of fans like myself who have followed the team from day 1 that live around the country... don't we deserve something?
And I know this will piss people off, but as much as you are a Wellington team, you are the one and only professional NZ team, and this is possibly the most important role the club plays... building the profile of the game nationally.
Easy solution, get another Auckland team organised. Sadly the attendences at the Auckland games are decreasing every year so even though your good efforts in spreading the word are appreciated by us, it seems your fellow Aucklanders have other ideas. Yes, there is a hard core of Auckland attendees of about twenty and that support is appreciated and encouraged, but the reality is, it appears Auckland football fans dont really give a crap about the Nix. They know we exist, they know well in advance when the games are going to be, but they are not turning up.
