Some similar passing patterns from last year. We seem to lack connect or ideas when moving forward. We pass it around the back and then launch a long range pass. But it’s preseason so not actually fussed

Yeah, last 15 we tended to probe forward, then stop and recycle. Too much.
You do that once, fine, twice, Ok. 3times at a stretch but you really need to be pushing it through then.

Yeh there was a point pre-injury when Rufer was looking to dribble or pass very directly through the centre. If he’s not doing that then it places a lot of pressure on Pennington.
A bit worried about our squad depth if Ball and Old are going to be out with injury a bit.

The first 15min showed us an idea of the style Italiano wants to play, quick movements and passing. We faded in the 2nd half, match fitness not there yet and lots of tired legs.
