or lack thereof...
Anyone else think the club has missed the boat in advertising this match? The only chance (depending on PS Cup standings) to showcase the team in Welly before the A-League starts and get heaps of people along at cheap prices, sign them up for memberships etc etc and hardly anyone I know know's the game is on...or if they do they think it is at Basin, or Newtown, or Porirua, or Palmy North, or Timbuktu...anywhere but the Stadium.
Hopefully word of mouth can get a decent turnout...James282007-07-18 21:15:47

yea the only people who even know bout it are on the yellow fever
site.theres been more advertising for the preseason rugby than the
phoenix
exactly. the lions had a back page ad in the dompost yesterday, and
the basketball is advertising well. it clashes with the phoenix
match on sunday afternoon. between the rugby on fri night and the
bball on sun arvo, and anything else that's on, i fear the game
could get lost in the mire....
let's hope not!!!
