the Basin is surprisingly busy during the summer, not just with international cricket, a lot of the national cricket is played there, men and women, t20, one dayers and four day cricket.
then during the winter you have some rugby and kids footy being played there.
having said that, if the Nix ownership were to stump up the cash to buy the basin and remodel it to have a rectangular pitch then I'd be fully into it.
