Who's been voting for Bad Luck?!  FFS, we are tactically naive, other teams have us sussed, and we revert to playing long balls to a short target man from easy to defend angles. That's not luck, that's poor tactical awareness with no 'plan B'.
We have a few players who are in need of a shake up, drop them or bench them. Ifil is one of them. Defenders stand off him and he beats himself these days. Brown is another. Too easy to play triangles arond him. To do so (drop these type of players), the coach needs some balls, and judging by this season's efforts in sticking with out of form players and making too little too late subsitutions, Ricky doesn't have any.
I am a passionate fan, I did not leave early last night, I take the good with the bad. Right now we are bad, even before last night we were bad. Time for some changes NOW.

I understand we have been beaten by two of the top teams in the league this season, thus why I am not that frustrated or angered at the lost last night, but rather it tells me that we won't win the league this season unless something drastically changes about the team. i am not sure what that is, but it is up to the team to sort it out if they want to win the league, which I'm sure they do.

We will never fully decide who has won the football.

I'm very surprised so many people say it is just luck. Seems like a cop-out to me

Sorry but the playing field in the league is not so uneven that we should simply expect to be hammered by whoever happens to be at the top of the league.

Thus why the team needs to find out what is not working and fix it, because I believe the phoenix are definitely capable of doing very well in the league. I just knew that they haven't worked it out yet, so I don't expect us to be beat the two teams which are doing very well in the league at the moment.

We will never fully decide who has won the football.

when's Lochhead due back?  I think they're missing height and strength in defence - North is just too small against these bigger teams.  Other than D-Mac, the Nix looked head/shouders shorter than NQF last night.  He should have come on a lot earlier IMO.  NQF shut down our playmakers, and they didn't have a plan B.  C'mon Nix!!

NQF?.........and Lochy wouldnt have made a difference

The defence leaking like a sieve is a major problem, we are being cut to pieces at the moment. Haven't we scored the 3rd most goals of any team this season? But have conceded the second most?

When we do occasionally make a break up the middle, our attackers get in front of/in the box and suddenly don't know what to do, dithering about trying to beat a defender while allowing time for two more to come in, shut us down and take the ball away. We need to be quicker to take a shot, rather than lose the opportunity. Enough with the foreplay already, just stick it in!!!

Edit: have scored 5th most goals now, not 3rdmoynie2010-11-05 14:24:52

Elliot passed backwards or to the opposition 95% of the time and half the time was marking no body. Totally off the pace of the game and his presence ruined whatever combo Lia and Brown have. His signing has just shows how short of ideas we are at the coaching level.
