That is utterly wrong, the replay clearly showed there was no contact yet the attacker  made a meal of nothing, therefore deserving the penalty for simulation. not much argument from him either I recall.

We had the potential penalty appeal by Adelaide scrubbed out for simulation last week; you could argue either that player wasn't as good at milking a penalty as Cosgrove, or it is a difference (inconsistence) between the VAR at one game vs another.
