...that's what this forum needs.

For those old 'uns amongst us that are sat in on Fri/Sat evening watching the Phoenix away on the box, whilst we nurse a few cold beers. (Of course we'll al lbe at the game for home games, so might be a but quiet then...)

Would be a bit of a laugh to step into a chat room and share the furstration of watching Phoenix away...

Anybody interested, or more importantly, anyone know how to do it?

There is software online out there that allows you to do it. I'm sure the maistros of this site are more than capable of establishing it. I found out today I'll be at work and miss the game bugger it! 1:30's - 9:30's. damn!!

Setting up a chat room is easy. However, all chat rooms that run in a browser that I've seen are useless. IRC is the way to go (but that's probably far too geeky for people on here)...

Would it be too slow to do it in this forum? I will be sitting here watching it and would be keen to join in...

There's some sort of Chat engine you can attach to any website...  I'll find the link.

There is usually a game thread running on this site anyway, do we need another?

Why? Browser chat rooms is just IRC but in a browser instead of a program like mIRC, no?

Maybe you should set up a ventrillo server to chant with each other from the comfort of your home.

Sometimes. Not often. I've never used mIRC, so I don't know how it compares.

btw, I'm a geek, so IRC is normal

Just thought I'd revisit this. As there are a few away games coming up... this might be a good way to watch the game in a 'Virtual Cake Tin'.

Just need someone to create the private room ahead of each game and post the URL.

No coding or modification needed for this site and ensures bandwidth is managed elsewhere... just a thought.

I could set up an IRC channel (just for the games).

You’ll need an account to join the conversation!
