Edit: this is in response to JD at the top of the page.

At no point have they cited money as a reason not to sack him. That's an assumption you've made.

I believe they have a plan, and ricki is a big part of it and had contributed and bought into it.

It pisses me off (and you'll notice I've changed my tune on this) that they've turned this season from one where we had ambitions of a top 2 finish, to one where they are forcing a style on to the players midway through in the name of this grand plan. It's all fine having a 5 year plan, but you should still be trying to win the league every season. It's interesting that Ifill said something similar on twitter a wee while back, but coming from a different angle - read into that what you will.

I'm only brining up the money thing because I can't understand the thinking if this is considered good enough for Herbert to retain his job.
What I want is someone involved with the club to come out and acknowledge what we are all coming to.  This season has been a complete and utter fucking disaster. No we're building, no we're moving forward.  Our team is full of crap players, many of whom are well past their best, and we're losing the majority of our games. Crowds are poor which shows that the fans are not happy.  And I want someone to explain to me as a fan who has stuck by this team to support them from the other side of the world, two things:
1.  Who is responsible; and

2.  What they plan to do about it.

Doing nothing, other than changing a few of the players, and promoting a few younger kiwis from the non-existent academy is not enough for me.  There needs to be real, meaningful change.

Until I get that explanation I'm going to get more and more angry/exasperated/disillusioned.
