What about Scott Miller? Talking to Simon Hill and Adam Peacock he was saying he's back in Australia with hopefully a few opportunities as head coach in the A-League. He took on Newcastle Jets when they looked in equally bad shape as us and made huge strides in turning everything around. I know they only went from finishing 10th to finishing 8th, but he seems like a really great man manager who cares about his players but also doesn't take any shark. Talks a lot about player mentality and the importance of having multiple game plans. He's also young, Aussie, has worked in the league under a strict budget at a struggling club and actually turned things around with that team - Maybe he could be a good pick up? And as much as I hate this being noteworthy, he's well liked by all the mugs on fox sports.

My recollection of NUJ under Miller was pretty dour defensive football, if you want to be negative, or solid if you are being positive.

On the other hand, listening to him last night on the A-League Show, he was not bagging the Nix.

Either he's hedging his bets cause he's gonna apply, or he has common sense, or both.

Edit: he may not be even any better coach than Greenacre, but he's qualified while Greenie is not.
