So perhaps the other guy was Popa who was waiting to see if Wanderers job was available perhaps? We shouldn't be waiting any longer - are we simply waiting to get the best guy ( in which case the other gentleman will know he is 2nd best - not a great start). Another expense of waiting is player uncertainty. Victory won't stand in JPDM way according to Press Report 3 days ago. I don't think we should start looking for a third man.

You've just invented a link that has never been made and assumed an article containing information linked by an agent is accurate. I think there is a chance JPDM is on the shortlist, I don't think there is a chance Popovic was. It is also just as likely that the two man shortlist contains neither of those two options and the Phoenix are still working through this.

Remember that 3 weeks ago the Phoenix world was up in arms that we were signing Scott Miller when there was absolutely nothing other than an article like the JPDM one to suggest he had even applied.

Based on the responses we've seen to the ownership article it seems likely Rob is in Australia currently so he may be doing interviews and getting feedback on the shortlist options while there if he's meeting with other A-League owners.
